The caller said they were calling from GE Money Bank to see if they could be of any assistance. When I asked what they meant, they said "well, if you're having financial difficulty we may be able to help". Our bill with them has always been paid on time, so this seemed very odd. I simply said no thank you and hung up. I called them today (on their main number) and asked about the call. They said the call was *definitely not from them* and that it was good that we didn't give them any account or personal information. What bothers me is that the caller knew our unlisted cell phone number, and that we had an account with GE Money Bank (Care Credit) that we use for veterinary bills, so they already had access to some of our confidential information.
