Also, I searched the phone number and it looks like it is tied to Firstchoice Real Estate of Virginia. Can't see them being in the collection business unless you owe them money. I know I sure don't.

I'm pretty sure it's a scam too. Only called me, but said a similar story. Something about suspicious activity linked to my SS#. He mumbled the company name and said for me to call back at the same number. I wouldn't call them back, I know I'm not.

They called my mother and my son, who they say are listed as emergency contacts, which they are not, my son is a minor, stated my maiden and married name and that my social security number had been compromised in a certain city. I believe this is a scam
