my sister got a call stated for me to call as soon as possible if I didn't want to go to court. so I called the number, and the man on the other end was very very rude. say I owned 1900.00 on a credit card and if I didn't pay that I would go to court on a credit card fraud. How can you take me to court on a credit card fraud, when the company issured me the card.I didn;t steal it.

My husband received this same call twice this week at work. Despite his giving them his home number and address and asking them to please use those as a contact number.

This so called gentleman contacted my elderly mother in another state, alluded that he was in a "legal" dept and working with the Dallas County Sheriff's dept on a civil matter. Stated that I had a court date approaching and that they needed to reach me urgently.
I called and left a message for Mr Shaw, stated I did not appreciate his tactics to an elderly person and asked that he give me a call directly and try to stick to the facts of why he was calling. So far, no call back. What a jerk.

I found a message on my answering machine saying that this was Mike Jones and it was urgent that I call back about a complaint that was filed against me and gave a case #..... When I called the number I asked for the name of the company and was told it is Bloom Financial Group in California. I had never heard of them so I did not give them any more information. This has to be a scam of some kind.
