I keep getting calls on a new Comcast number (I've had it for 3 months) and it's in my name only. They call asking for my son's friend who lives in Sacramento, CA (we live in Vancouver, WA). I keep telling them I don't know the person and to stop calling me. They keep calling and when I tell them I requested they stop, they claim I never asked them to stop calling. Today, when he said I never made the request, I yelled LIAR and hung up on him. Not real professional of me since I should have gotten his name and company name and then next time they call, tell them who I spoke with, the date and time of the last call, and that I RECORDED IT and am recording the current call and will be taking it to my local police department to file harassment charges.

These people keep calling me asking for different people. I have asked to be removed from their list or I will contact my attorney and i was hung up on. What bothers me is they have both my work cell number and my personal number so I am getting double whammied.

I found this info on another website from someone that has had these same calls as I have..."This number 888-587-0752 is listed to a Mitchell & Kay Law Firm also known as Plaza Associates out of New York City. This firm according to the Atty Gen Office has enough law suits against him to choke a horse. I requested a copy of my Credit Report a few minutes ago and found his name as having requested information. This guy is a crook who goes around trying to find out if you have any outstanding debts and then claims he has been retained by the company to collect the debt.One thing wrong with that, he is trying to collect from a debtor who has been paid off. If after receiving the signed request for the letter, you still receive calls then sue the crap out of him. Hang up on this individual immediately!!!!! Do not answer his questions JUST HANG UP!!!!!!"
