Caller had strong foreign accent (guessing India) said they were from the IT Department and wanted to talk about my laptop computer. (first thought, SCAM) Needing a mental break I played along for a bit. Go to your computer and tell me what you see. Replied, "My Computer" OK, click on the start button. Replied, Hmmm I done see a start button. Caller then tells me it is on the bottom left part of my screen. Reply, nope not there. I ask if that is something that is on a Windows computer. (I never told him I was on a MAC)

Anyway, they could not tell me the name of my computer, IP Address, or any of that detail. They have called back several times from different numbers that I keep blocking.

Sometimes I play along with them just to break up my day.

Foreign Op stating they were from IT DEPT at Windows and wanted to talk about my home laptop. (I have an IT degree) so when I asked why they were calling me when I had not called them they responded by saying because all computers are connected globally. (which is complete bull that they've pulled out their wazoo for ppl who are not computer literate) They hung up on me.
