Got a call from this number claiming that I owed a balance on a credit card that I know was paid off and the account closed over 10 years ago. Had me in a little bit of a panic for a minute. They insisted they were going to take me to court, but would only provide the documentation to prove I owed anything during the 'discovery' process in court. I happen to look at my credit report on a regular basis, so was able to tell them that I knew they were a scam and that I didn't owe any money. Talk about making your blood boil!
