I was alone in the streets. I had no family to go to when I was out of work, hungry and tired of living day to day not knowing where my next meal would come. I heard about this program that gave you a job, a place to live and a chance to go back to school. I jumped on the chance and have not looked back since. I was able to get a job, food and clothing from NSpire. BUt they also gave me something more. A reason to live. I had made several attempts to commit suicide. I thought my life had no meaning and was going nowhere. Now at 50 I am going back to school, getting back in order and my life feels more complete physically, spiritually and mentally.
