I have had the same problem with "jspatitz" he never answered ANY of the questions I asked him and all he would say is "email me back if you are interested in this bike" AFTER I TOLD HIM I WAS INTERESTED!!! And i would ask him a number of questions and all he would say is "i am a member of the ebay buyer protection program...blah blah blah" and he would say give me your full name, address, cell phone number, and all this other information! -does he think I'm crazy!?

I emailed the guy and it sounded EXACTLY like mr jspatitz when he replied. his name is "Brandon Lopez" i dont know if it's a scam or not, but it sounds exactly like him... if its not, sorry brandon.

Feel free to get a hold of me if you would like to pursue this dirtbag. I've also recently received calls and e-mails suspiciously close to each other. May be related to the e-mail address "JSPATITZ@AOL.COM" They posted a bunch of motorcycles on craigslist and I got caught up in the initial stages of questions about them (the bikes).
BTW.. I don't owe any bill to Verizon either.

I responded to a Craigslist.org advertisement for a motorcycle. The poster was listed as " jspatitz@aol.com " Several days later I received an e-mail saying the bike was still for sale and give them a shout back. I sent the e-mail confirming my interest. The e-mailer (jspatitz@aol.com) claimed they were in the military and being sent back to iraq. MISTAKE I am a vet and military member and probed a little deeper.. this is what I found (http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en#q=jspatitz%40aol.com&hl=en&complete=1&filter=0&fp=7a1ddfff6faefc4c). Apparently JSPATITZ lives everywhere in the U.S.
I replied to the e-mailer that I was still interested, but that the e-mail they had sent answered none of my questions and if they were spamming and or phishing using the guise of a Vet. or military member, I would personally be happy to watch the world crumble on them.
In the first e-mail response to craigslist, i did something I never do.. I gave my phone number. About three minutes after I sent my cordial e-mail requesting info on the item or the end of the charade I received a phone call (with a males voice in the background) from (910) 338-0672, the duration of the call was 4 seconds.
If the Wilmington PD is interested in further information they can contact me directly as I am also a LEO, but in the D.C. area.

This number comes from Wilmington, North Carolina. I have contacted police in the Wilmington area, and have been informed that an investigation is already under way. It is amazing how long it takes law enforcement to get on to these damn scammers.
People, PLEASE call the police on these phone numbers. The reason scammers get away with this nonsense for so long is because no one reports them. The quicker people report them, the quicker they go to JAIL!

I don't know who has this number but they called me yesterday and all I got for a voicemail was static for about 30 min. I actually saved the voicemail just incase they call again. I also did a reverse look up for this number it is a residence and also a landline that is unpublished, in Willmington North Carolina. I don't know the number but next time I am picking up and telling them to leave me alone.
