Same thing happened to me . This guy leaves a voice message sayiong the same rant. It has happened to me in the past. I keep a log everytime it happens. Sadly not much anyone can do for they change thier numbers all the time

I got this exact call from "Travis Dunn" at "coopers law firm" saying I owe 500 some dollars to cash net USA for a fraudulent loan and 3 additional criminal charges. After he told me all of the charges against me I told him that I am underage and that I need to call my parents to know what to do because I had no idea what was going on. He said that if I would pay $100 dollars then it would be fine because he wouldn't submit the claim and that I don't have time to call my parents before he would have officers come and take me to jail. Keep in mind he is aware that I am UNDERAGE. I kept explaining to him I don't understand, let me call someone, I can't even take out a loan because I am underage and so on. He was so rude and I told him I would not continue until I had at least been in contact with my parents because they were at work. He reluctantly let me off and said I only had 15-20 minutes. I called my mom and she said it sounded like a scam but rushed home. She called him back and he said he couldn't even tell her my email, which was supposedly what linked me to the crime. She said for him to email me with further information if this is true. She hung up and we called our local authorities just to confirm it was a scam, and of corse it was. If I was guilty, which I am not, I am underage they are not allowed to pursue civil actions towards me. In addition, we called Cash Net USA and found out that you cannot even take out a loan in my state. Glad I didn't have to learn the hard way. He was very willing to take advantage of my misunderstandings and my age! I am left a little shaken by this and very discouraged that a person would do such a thing. Moral of the story: Travis Dunn is a cruel scammer, he calls and says he is from Coopers Law Firm and it is located in New York, the number was (914)-236-6152
