HAd my last four of my ssn, knew what bank I use, asked if I had charged with a felony, asked for my attorney's information, said I was being Subpoenaed and was going to be arrested on Thursday and that I owed money for an Instant Cash Loan taken out in January. Said the company was going to write it off as a loss/stolen but that I would have to pay $5400 for lawyer fees, bond, etc.. HAd a foreign accent-hard to understand. I kept telling him he isn't giving me any information and he kept repeatiing what he already said. I called my state attorney general's office and they called the number back and the guy who answered would not give him any information and tried to get the AG office to send his fax number so he could send a Power of Attorney. AG office agreed it is a scammer and took my information. This call came to my work phone number which is a government office and we are not allowed to receive these kind of calls-I told him this but he kept talking.
