I received a fraudulent recorded call from Amazon confirming the purchase of an Apple MacBook Pro and Air Pods in the amount of $1,537.35 will be debited from my account. They said If I didn't make this purchase press (1) where I was connected to a man claiming to be from Amazon. He asked for my name and credit card information. I told him I did not trust this call and would call Amazon back using their direct phone number. He hung up on me. Thankfully I had heard about the Amazon scam prior to receiving this call. Be careful!
