My wife and I both had a pay day loan some time in 2010, and due to me losing my job the payday loan was not paid. The caller from this phone number said that he is calling from a Law Firm. The first person sounded as if he had a severe speech impediment, then he handed me off to another person that had a very thick middle Eastern accent and threaten possible arrest due to money laundering???? hugh. The way he was harassing me,If I ever saw this person he is correct I would get arrested!

I took out a loan through a small lending company which I will not name here for legal reasons. I owe an outstanding debt to them however, after speaking with them directly, they have informed me NOT to acknowledge this caller.

I have received 4 or 5 calls from them threatening litigation and fraud charges against me if I do not provide them with personal information and pay them as a "legal representative" for the company to whom I owe the debt. This caller has instructed me to retain a criminal attorney to represent me against charges of fraud and when I asked for him to please provide me a formal demand letter with a company letterhead, he because irritated and demanded that I give him the information "now". He has also threatened that if I do not respond, I will be served with a subpoena for a lawsuit against me to garnish my wages. He claims to have personal information including my SSN, address, employer information (which he has also called and left threatening voice mails on my work phone in the company's general voice mail box).

This man says his name is "Stephen McDonald". The number only registers as originating somewhere in Minnesota.
