The callers left a message and said that because I participated in an and online survey, I won a $100 gift card redeemable to stores such as Walmart, Target, etc...Out of curiosity, i called the number back and pressed #1 to be directed to a live person.
The person wanted my first and last name and said Congratulations for winning a $100 gift card and a $40 gas card. All they wanted was a $4.95 shipping and handling fee.
Now, because I know there are scammers out there, I refused and asked if they had a website so I can review it in writing. The person insisted they were a legitimate company and asked me again to pay the $4.95 S/H fee. I refused the second time and asked for their Website.
They hung up the phone.
To all who are reading this: Report this right away. It's a scam and a fraud. Don't be fooled and give away your credit card number!
