They called me (after business hours) and said they were going to have me arrested if I didn't send them $600 within 2 hours. I called my local police department. They told me it's a scam and to save their threatening voicemails. They told me that I was going to spend a minimum of 120 days in jail for a crime that I obviously didn't commit. I live in DE and the crime was committed in GA. They knew my social security number, my family's information (other relatives of mine who live in a different state). I don't understand how people are allowed to do this.
