They called threaten me that I owe from a payday loan from last year. They would serve me papers in 2 hours if I don't reply. So I called they had a name of the loan company that I never heard of but they had a answer for everything. So I told them I could not pay the balance they took 45.00 and set up a payment plan. How do I know this is real? Everything I just does not prove this is something I owe. I stopped my credit card but if this is true I don't want to get in trouble. Can someone help me?

Calling my cell. Says he is a private investigator for Texas and has two counts he will file on. Called from an unknown number and left this phone number. I called the number and it states it is a collection agency called ACS. When I asked for the name and address of the company, I was hung up on repeatedly. I continued to call. Same girl answered with different names and then changed her voice, but then would change it back when she got mad. I asked to be removed from the call list. She yelled at me and refused. The 11th call I was transfered to the "manager" of Allstate Check Services. He asked me to no longer call. That he knew who I was and he was going to expedite my case to the authorities.
