A person with an Indian accent (Red Flag #1)called my home phone at 7:23 AM. (Red Flag #2) I returned the call, and he answered "US Treasury" and asked for my name and phone #. I told him he already had that he called me first. He said "Don't waste my time." (Red Flag #3)and hung up. So I returned the call, to see if someone else answered, and the same guy answered. (Red Flag #4). Wouldn't the REAL US Treasury have a complicated phone tree that would try the patience of a saint? (Red Flag #5). This time, I DID give him my name and number, which he already has, no threat there, and he said there was an "action" against me and he needs some "documents". I asked him what documents and he asked if I had an attorney. I replied "Why, yes, I do," because I am currently being represented in an auto accident case. He said "Have him call me," and hung up again. So why didn't he try to get the "documents". Did the attorney scare him? This is most likely a scam, right?
