First call was from a guy name John, he never stated his last name, the second call was from a guy name Brain Duncan, both from a company called ALS. They both left messages on my answering machine, home and cell phone, stating that my name and social security number was on a claim filed at their office and that me or my lawyer had 72 hrs to contact them or I would get papers served on my job or my residence.

This guy is now harassing my daughter at her work number. The message, however, is a recording. They leave a claim number and phone number. I called the phone number and you get a voicemail #2001 and it asks for you to leave a message. It gives no company name when you call. This stuff has been going on for a while with my daughter and she has no outstanding debt and certainly has no payday loans. We have contacted the FCC, local police and everyone we can think of. There is no way to stop these creeps. Just ignore them. First and foremost, no one can have you arrested for owing money, they can only sue. If you owed money, they would send you a demand letter by mail first. If they called, you would be able to talk to a warm body and you could inform them to not call you at work and they would have to oblige. There are a lot of bad people out there trying to take advantage of good people. I have known some who have been scammed to actually pay these guys. This is ridiculous and should not be an undue burden on people who are trying to live their lives without unnecessary harassment. Ignore, ignore, ignore!
