I and everybody in my family was called by someone stating that they were trying to serve me papers to go to court. I called the number back they answered Law Office so I proceded to give them the account # that was left with my ex husband. They said it was a bill from Embarq, which is no longer in business. I said how much was the original bill he told me it was $450 which was a lie, the original bill was $149 but now it was $750. I asked when is my court date, he said there was no court date, I asked what are these papers I am being served with. He would not answer me, so I kept asking questions, finally he hung up, he did not want to answer my questions. 1-888-743-0225 is a fraud.
