These people have contacted me since 2012 and at first, I was scared about what this "lawsuit" was all about and it had to do with a credit card account from 2004 and by now, the account has been termed due to SOL (4 years). And after a lengthy phone call with them and their heartless actions/company, it left me to ponder and cause me to worry. Now here is 2014 and they start the band rolling again with another phone call/letter. This caused me to check them out via internet and lo and behold, I have seen LOTS of message board comments from other people and their experience with this group. My worry immediately turned to anger. If a time barred debt is a time barred debt-LET IT BE and leave us the HELL alone. What really infuriated me was when I checked one of my credit reports and found no collection action with THEIR name mentioned.
IMO, I think someone should have someone like David Goldstein of KCBS/KCAL investigate these people. This is EXTREMELY unfair to people in the same boat.
