Heavily accented female caller claiming to have a legal case against our son. Didn't quite get his first name accurately but was close. Demanded a return call. Looked up this company name and number and found what I expected to find; a scam. Several red flags to include; caller did not use proper phone technique, she identified herself by a given name and not Miss/Mrs/Ms, she did not use "case" number, etc. I wish our FCC would enforce the Do Not Call Registry provision. Doing so would eliminate a lot of his nonsense.

Woman left her name as Yvonne. Left a message for my son saying that there was legal action a civil case against him and the only way to stop it was to contact her. Her accent was so thick that I could understand every five words on the message. If there were legal action against him wouldn't he have been served with papers?

I contacted "Brown & Goldstein" after my brother received calls from 855-606-1319. Spoke with someone who let me talk to Kevin Cleary. Kevin told me their client Quincy Financial was trying to collect a debt from him my brother and if he didn't pay they were going to file several different charges on him. He was unable to give me any information on Quincy Financial. Kevin became rude, so I asked to speak to his supervisor. I was transferred to supervisor Chris Smite who was also very rude. He told me he wasn't going to help me anymore and my brother needed to contact their office. He was talking over me and trying to rush me off the phone. Before we hung up I asked if this was a scam because the same number that called my brother was also on Google as a scam. He then became even more hateful and rude and hung up. I called back and he was the first "representative" to answer (not sure why the "supervisor" is answering the phone). I said "Oh, Mr. Smite, just who I wanted to talk to". He told me he was recording the phone call, pushed two buttons on the phone, told me he was going to press harassment charges on me if I called back, pushed two more buttons and hung up. I was told by Kevin that they are located in Buffalo, NY and their hours are 9 am - 5 pm EST.

I recognized the voice. Of course He changed his name and name of the company. Last time it was Washington Recovery Services and his name was Joseph Anderson. When you start asking questions about the claim he tries to over talk you, which is a red flag that its not real and a scam. Watch out don't give any personal information!!!!!!
