Fraud alert stating many of Charter's customers have experienced fraudulent transactions when traveling abroad and to be careful using ATM or credit card.

Called and said to call 877-979-3920. Called number and a very professional IVR system answered and said "to assist you more efficiently, please enter your 16 digit card number now..." Of course I didn't. Another interesting note, they are filtering access to the 877 number to the number they called initially. Otherwise, you will get a disconnected message. Also, they limit the number of times you can call the 877 number. This will give authorities a false sense that they have "packed up", when they are still in business.
