I got a call from this number and left a VM in thick Indian accent. When I called back some "officer" Damon Marshall picked up the call and told me he has 10 years of my "Income Tax" papers in front of me (I haven't been in this country for that long to begin with!). He lost my attention then and there. He said I owe $4500 else he is sending sheriff to my work place (He called on Fedreal Holiday not to forget - Jan 20 MLK Jr. Day!). I said send me paper work of what I owe and then we will talk.He said there is no paper work in my case only one year jail and he hung up saying "good luck one year in jail!"
I couldn't stop laughing after he hung up. But when I texted my friends about this Jerk they said this is a huge scam going on and these guys are targeting Indians more or less. PLEASE DO NOT GIVE HIM ANY MONEY! IT IS A SCAM AND REPORT TO IRS IF NEEDED. I AM GOING TO REPORT IT TO MY LOCAL POLICE SINCE HE HASN'T STOPPED CALLING ME.

I had I same phone call and so I was so upset..I then called the IRS TO GET input they assured me that I was fine and that they have been getting these types of calls all week.I really thought I was going to be arrested... wow..they most have a lot of time on there hands

I got the same call yesterday and today got in touch with Damon Marshall about back taxes owed. He told me a Sherrif was coming to arrest me! I am still shaking! Who does this sort of thing?????

The caller claimed to be from the Internal Revenue Service (even though the call was made on a federal holiday) and requested that I call a number (the same number the call originated from) to speak to "Damon Marshall" of the IRS in regard to an IRS investigation of my tax return and taxes that I supposedly owed.

Called at 7:40 am to say we had legal trouble with IRS. Gave us our address when we asked for proof not a scam - scary! Told us to call Damon Marshall at 202-506-9680. Checked IRS website and googled the number to confirm it was a scam. This is why we never answer our landline anymore.
