I received a call at my job from a female who stated she was looking to serve me papers. I wasn't at work so she left a message for me to call Longview Acquisitions (LVA). When I called, they stated that they were going to serve me papers from a payday loan that was in their office for collections. I know I had some payday loans, but have paid them off in full so I asked them what date the loan was supposedly taken. They gave me a date that did not reflect a loan being taken on the bank statement. When I informed them of this, they changed their story. The man I talked to name Dan said no the loan was taken out sometime in 2011, but was charged off in 2012. I informed him that was impossible because I did not have that account in 2011. He did not seem to care. I am not paying them a thing because if I know it's a scam because I have no record at all of owing the company name they provided with nor the date of the supposedly loan. Do not send these people money. Look at your old bank statements and make them give you the company name and exact date of the loan. If you can't find it then how do you owe them anything. Think about it.

They are harassing my daughter I have not spoken to in two years. I reversed the number they gave her and I called it. They answered as Longview Acquisitions. So I looked them up and found this site.I am having my son to let her know to report them to her cell company and the BBB locally.

In CA the statue of limitation is 4 years. I got a call from a Rick Thompson. I currently live with my in-laws and they called their house. I don't even have my in-laws home number because we don't ever use it. So I am wondering how they would get that number and link it to me.

i received a phone call on 4/11 and started making payments with them then i got a call from an other bill collector for the same thing that is under the BBB so i started looking up longview acquisitions and could not find anything on them till i found this i already tried to contact this company to get who i owe money too information and they would not give it to me they just argued and threatened me on the phone so i have reported them to the BBB and to the website stated at the top of this page they owe $252.00 and i already contacted my bank to investigate it. I'm so glad i found this out when i did i hope this company gets caught and they can serve in jail they got me so aggravated i am going to make sure they get caught cause i am reporting them to every law place i can

I received a call from Danielle McCathy twice. Once on Friday, 5/16/2014 and Monday, 5/20/2014 saying that I owe money on a payday loan that I applied for in April 2012. I work the overnight hours on my job from 12 am to 8 am. Danielle called twice, after I left work. If she has my work number, how come she did not call my home number? When I called this company back yesterday morning, one associate said that they are located on the east coast, and to send me a bill. By law, in order to make payments, a company is suppose to send you a bill, with their company address, telephone and fax number, account number, and the amount you owe that company. Longview acquisition is a total scam, and I will report them to the FBI.

I received the exact same call from Danielle today. From a blocked number. She said she was going to come to my job and serve me with papers. I told her I’d be waiting. She also called my employer to inquire about the process for serving employees. I told her to Cease & Desist. The return number for "Longview Acquisition is 877-489-6489. Thanks to post like yours and others on this site I’m no longer worried about Danielle or “Longview Acquisitions”. ?

I received a call at 7:15am on my cell with a blocked phone number. The lady stated her name as Danyell. She has my documents and she needs to serve me, but when I asked what service company she worked for she said I am calling from my cell phone. I stated that is not what I asked you, then she stated Sinclair. She told me that she gives a curtesy call to help you resolve this without having to serve you. She told me to call LVA, which is Long View Acquations and claim number WG34***. So I called and the guy stated it was from a payday loan from 2011 and since I did not pay it back I frauded the company. I asked him the company and he said it was Riverside. I told him well I cannot recall that since it is from 2011 and to please put in writing so that I can see what it is you are wanting. He stated "what do you want me to send you" I said, the bill or whatever you are claiming" He said he would email it to me, and he had my email address, home address, social sec #, work phone, bank info, I would not confirm it to him though. I asked more question which he had no answer for and told me he had limited info on my claim (not case) and I would need to speak to a manager. Well I hung up at that point. About 1 hour later Daneille calls back to ask it I took care of it. I said no they could not answer my questions and they would call me back, She said that is weird because they do not have the abilty to make outside calls. So I told her, you know what I am at work come serve me. She then stated that she was not in my area anymore and maybe can get to me Monday. I said ok. I know I will never get served, because people do not forewarn you that you are being served, it would also be on a case not a claim were I would have to go to court. By them not putting it in writing, not having outside calling abilities, not being listed in the phone book etc, really does not sound legit. Sounds like a scam to me. When I called the long view place, I used my work phone had on speaker so other could hear it as I was recording the conversation on my cell phone. So when I send to the police dept I can play the video for them.

I ALSO RECEIVED ALL CALL FROM A RESTRICTED NUMBER . THEN SPOKE WITH A CORY READ THIS IS DEFINATELY A SCAM 877-419-9539.THEY SAY THEY ARE FROM ATLANA, GA BUT WHEN THEY PROCEED MY INFORMATION THE PLACE IS FROM HAMBURG, NY.

Has anyone ever sent you anything I got the phone call today from 1-977-418-2689 Dana #322 saying we owe on a payday advance also but when we asked to send us something in the mail they said they would after the account was paid in full. We called the cops to inform them of the scam.

Both of these people call me stating that they have a locator is in the process of finding me, that they would like to help me before the locator finds me.
That I have a case that is in pre litigation for fraud and breach of contract.
What this is a payday loan that I thought had been resolved but apparently....not.
this company has purchased the contract and attempting to collect monies on same.
Bottom line is they want me to pay a reduced amount owed on the account and it will be considered resolved.
Well I told him I am not paying them that they need to contact me via the U.S. Postal Service..... That way it documents their intentions.
