First call from them was listening to 2 non-English speaking individuals that wouldn't respond to me. Then they called back 2 seconds later saying he was from "DirectBuy" in Texas and promptly hung up laughing. A California number.

This number belongs to Directbuy, and scamming "furniture club". They are known to weasel out thousands of dollars out of unsuspecting folk. They call and call, yet there is silence and a hang up on their end. They want you to call back so you can leave a message and make an appointment to physically meet with them so they can get you to sign their contract. Good luck getting a real rep on the line to get them to put you on their do-not-call list.
