Female called from this Alltell cell phone number, claiming to be from ADT, offering a free trial with home security. She asked if I am a homeowner and if I have a current security system. Since that seemed like a sketchy question, I told her I preferred not to answer that & I assume she then hung up on me b/c the call was then disconnected. Definitely sketchy.

said i contacted them online concerning employment opportunities and he needed some additional personal info. i asked him when i had done this and for what position had i applied for. he went back to repeat what he first said as if he were reading a prep-card as to what to say. alarms went off in my head saying "fisching scam...". he then said "well, you are unemployed,right?" i replied no and i didnt believe i needed his companies assistance. blew it off for awhile but something kept bugging me about it. HE KNEW MY NAME AND NUMBER! so i looked wn positions up on the internet and saw this . the # he called me from was (912)200-7978 Thank You and glad my company gave me the training to recognize this type of activity.
