Started out confusing, male caller saying something about a tax board or something. Then mentioned Capital One. Told me amount and setting up some sort of payment. Told him I was unemployed and that I had tried to work with Capital One in the past but they refuse to let me pay over the phone with a debit card, held onto payments until they were past due, even when the bank was paying them! Taking my payment and then calling repeatedly to get more money and the kicker, when my card expired in 2005, never sent me a replacement valid card, this after paying off the card at least 2-3 times, even overpaying them via auto payments but do you think they call me about that? Bottom line, guy got extremely rude, told me that I'd never get a job since my credit was bad due to not paying Capital One. Yeah, right, they are the ONLY one giving me grief and not crediting my account but have what I owe them up to twice my limit!! And it got worse from there and that's when I hung up on him. NO collection agency has the right to insult you, your life, your intelligence, your situation, etc. NO ONE!
