Total scammers and complete jerks.
As stated before, the man claimed this "wasn't a sales call" and proceeded to inform me that because I purchased a Time Share last September, in Las Vegas that I had $750 in travel credit available.
I told him that I wasn't interested and to please take my name off his calling list. He became belligerent with me and behaved as if I was the one being an obstinate buzzard. I hung up. I tried to call the number back, but the line is dead and the call can not be completed. Which was odd since the calls started coming 5,6,7,8 times a day from that very number!
I called my Time Share company and let them know that, while I KNOW it's not them, or any legitimate company for that matter, these jerks are trying their hardest to make is seem as if they are affiliated. They are investigating as well.
When the scammers called for the second time today, I started yelling at the guy so much that he finally hung up on me.

Lots of people are randomly receiving calls from this number recently. If you google the number, results show the number associated with two people in Tampa, Fl: Nakia Rumph and Kathyrn Reeve. I seriously doubt that either of these people are calling people randomly. One poster attempted to return the call and got a recording that the number was no longer in service. This sounds suspiciously like another SCAMMER who is hi-jacking (spoofing) the phone
numbers of innocent people (and also the numbers of small businesses according to the BBB warning about this scam). If you ever discover that your phone number as been spoofed, report it to the local authorities, your state attorney general office and the federal communications commission and request
an investigation. Caller ID spoofing is prohibited according to the Federal
Communications Commission, and the Truth in Caller ID Act of 2009. It is punishable by up to a 10,000.00 fine per violation. Why people are allowed to create apps that can change the phone number in the caller ID to any number
they wish when it is unlawful to use the app is mind-boggling. As for the fine, it might as well be 1 million dollar fine per violation if no-one ever gets caught. It's hard to believe that people in this world have degenerated to this point. I feel terrible for the innocent people whose phone numbers are being violated
for the agendas of unethical people.

Something is not right about the calls coming from this number. People are reporting tons of calls from this number, repeatedly day after day. many are reporting automated messages (like me) or dead air space. One poster said that when he tried to return the call, he discovered that the area code for the phone number is really 239 and not 850. We have received many unidentified calls from the 239 area code in the past year and all have been proven to be SCAMS, eventually. Different people are receiving different information from this number: collection agency trying to verify the residence of specific people, sales rep for Cadillac Escalade, a company called Usonia Reseach and a survey of issues that are pertinent to Florida residents. I looked for a Usonia Research in Florida but didn't find one. Only found a Usonia Group in Seattle Washington. SCAMMERS We really need to NOT believe what we see in our caller ID anymore. This call could be coming from anywhere.

These "state trooper" calls are very strange. If the caller is genuinely calling for donations on behalf of state troopers in florida, why do they have to use so many phone numbers? Caller saying different things to different people from the same phone number. Sounds fishy to me.

Calls from this area code began Feb 2012 - always three rings and hangs up seconds before my answering machine picks up.
Caller ID has shown various identifications such as Lower Interest, Unknown, and mostly Florida.
Calls are received between 9am-2pm. 4 calls in 2013, 2 calls in 2012.
Numbers calling are: 305-368-8100, 305-368-8853, 305-360-8235, 305-368-8875, 305-368-8888, 305-587-2091. The numbers are fake and meant to mislead.

Received a call from this same number. They called our business line at 12:29 AM in the early morning. Our voice mail system answered the call. He sounds like a low class Latin who does not know how to speak English. He left the following message. "Hey I want you answer me, the phone right now, for me mother f _ _ _ _ _ !
Based on the message left, I would not recommend that anyone answer a call from this caller...........

Call came in while we were not at home. No message. BUT, if we are home we pick up and hang up immediately, quietly, without saying anything, to 'confuse' the robodialer. That way they won't know if they got a non-working number; a fax, or what. That usually discourages repeat calls, or at least cuts down on them.
Some people have reported that this is DISH NETWORK making TELEMARKETING calls, which, is ILLEGAL to anyone, such as ourselves, on the DoNotCall List.
