This person left a message in reference to an aggravated complaint filed against me and that I needed to contact them to tell them my side of story prior to prosecution procedures. Which I don't have the slightest idea what she's talking about. She states that either I or my legal representative needs to respond back in a timely manner. At the end of message she says govern yourself accordingly and good luck. Has anyone else received a call like this? This same person as also left message with my daughter in law. Telling her that I needed to contact them within 2 hours or I would be in big trouble.

They called and left a voicemail yesterday, leaving a case number and telling me to call immediately. I called today to find out what was going on, I told them up front that will not give them any of my personal info over the phone. They gave me MY personal info! They told me that I supposedly wrote a hot check in 2009 to a pawn shop, told me my old bank information, told me last 4 digits of my social, my mothers address and old phone number. They said I was going to be arrested today and that I have a bond of like $6000. I asked several questions trying to find out exactly who they are, they avoided my questions. They ended the call saying "good luck, dispatch the warrant". I called Austin Police and told them, they said that it sounded like a scam...
