*Glass Mountain Capital, whose debt collection arm operates as GMC Credit Services, has it's headquarters in Illinois, but has branches everywhere. They work with creditors on all levels of collections - pre-collections, contingency collections, skip tracing, and litigation. They use predictive dialing, data encryption, scoring, and batch skip tracing in their efforts to collect. GMC Credit Services operates on a contingency basis, meaning that Glass Mountain Capital doesn't get paid until GMC Credit Services collects. So yes, they will call and harass you unless you issue a cease and desist.

I called back the number, they are a debt collection company, their name is Glass mountain capital. I think they use local numbers with local area codes in all states so if you see a local number you will answer, but its all re-directed back to their office in IL. I receive phone calls several times a day from 508-340-4839, but they never leave a message. After a couple of weeks of this, I called the number to see who was calling, and a recording identified the company as Glass Mountain Capital. I selected the option to speak to a representative, but was eventually disconnected. This happened on two separate occasions. I have been in a debt repayment program for nearly two years and cannot imagine who these people are or who they are trying to collect for.

Said they wanted to speak about a fantastic business opportunity but needed to verify my current or previous address which I wouldn't do then wanted to very the last 4 #'s of my SSN which I surely wouldn't do. Told them to take my name off their list and hung up.
