This person is calling and acting like a government official stating he is from the Dept. of Investigation. He is very rude and nasty, he tries to sound official, but is really just belligerent. He tries to get the person's place of employment, address, and stating he has to serve papers on their premises at work, and "what is your protocol?" He is definitely a hired idiot.

I got this same thing. They said I closed a bank account So I know this is a scam, because I have never closed my bank account. I was told they would see me in court.

I think this is a scam a few years ago I got the same call. I just told them to serve me. Now again I get another call that legal action is to be taken for an old acc. with a Circuit City, all along they had the wrong address. The # given to call back was 888-366-1412. with a case #. I called and was given an option to pay half the amt within 24 of how I was going to pay if not I would be served. I search more info for this Co. and phone number. Finally found the Co. in San Gabriel, Ca and there # is 626-656-7670 and a Mr. Cartwight answered.
I think this may be a scam no reviews or other information can be found for this Co.
