IRS in california

Left a digital message stating it was the IRS. No ref#.Called back,tey never asked my name, my address ir my ss # for verification. Told me they audited my taxed for the last 5 years and I owe the government $4000. They wanted to send me to the restitution department for payment. I never received a letter, which they stated was sent certified mail. They told me that I will be arrested and taken to jail where I will have to pay $1000 to get out. I told them I was contacting the actual 800 IRS #. They haven't called back.

the man said he needed to speak to me about back taxes owed to the IRS. i don't live in that state of CA, and have not owed taxes to that state at any time. he called me by name but he is wrong about the taxes owed. besides with the IRS scandal in DC and Lois Lerner, why would I want to pay taxes when they are one of the most corrupt federal organizations in this country. they can go scratch.
