I responded to an apartment rental ad on Craiglist and this "John Svanholm" called and tried to scam me. Pretended to rent an apartment he doesn't own. Covered up as a religious man. Wanted me to pay $1000 in advance before I can get the key. I looked the number up online and similar thing happened to a lot of people. Some have been victims. Beware.
