Said he was the Settlement Director for this company and was attempting to collect on an old debt that we do still owe to Home Depot. He said that if we could not reach some kind of settlement they are going to pursue court action. They want to settle for less than half the debt, but want it verifiable using a traceable bond of one sort or another. I just want to know...are these people legitimate? I have 24 hours from now to let them know if I can pay. 8 PM, 2-19-14
