Yet another phone call from IRS scammers. They said they have an arrest warrant for me and had tried to mail me letters twice before to an address that is over 8 years old. This is my third such call from them so I took a much more belligerent tone with them to see what would happen. I told them my lawyer would contact them and they said they could not release any information to the lawyer. They told me the police would come to arrest me and hold me for 72 hours until I went to court. And they were very rude in general. I even tried calling them back to ask for a case number, but the alleged Head of the IRS Investigative Department told me it was in the police's hands now and she would not give me any further information.
