Call originated from 180-491-6870. Garbled recorded message claiming there is a warrant out for federal tax fraud related to my bank and social security number. Directed me to call 804-961-0015 for more information.
Since it was IRS related, I reported to the IRS TIGTA unit at http://www.treasury.gov/tigta/contact_report_scam.shtml Suggest everyone who gets calls claiming to be IRS related do the same.
Thought the callback number appears to be located in Richmond, VA and should be easy for gov't to track, it also comes up as a mobile phone in India. The originating number comes up as a number in China.

Just received same kind of phone call. Did not answer because the caller ID said "unknown". A man named "Victor Osborne" with heavy accent (from India) claimed to be with Dept of Legal Affairs @ US Treasury. Calling because of law enforcement action being initiated against us. If too busy have attorney call. The number was (909) 666-5016. Said good luck and goodbye.

I just got a call on 10/2/2014 from a man calling himself Chris Wilcox from legal affairs his # was 202-241-8216. He did not say what it was about but I could have my lawyer call him. A

I had the same thing with a heavily accented man calling me. Said his name was Chris Wilcox with dept of legal affairs, US treasury. I needed to call him right away and if I was to busy, my attorney can call. I will be in a big legal mess if I don't. Also told me to have a blessed day at the end. The number was from Compton, CA 562-361-8610.

I rec'd a call from Rialto, CA and since I did not recognize the name or number, I didn't answer. A man named "Kevin Miller" with a thick accent claiming to be with a Dept of Legal Affairs was calling because enforcement action was pending against me. He said if I was busy to have my attorney call him and then he told me to have a blessed day!

Received a message at work from Kevin Miller to call 855-241-5547. Returned call and spoke to a lady - informed her I can NOT receive calls at my job so be sure no future calls are made and then inquired as to the call. (I've had the same cell # since 2004 or 2005 so it's puzzling as to why they did not attempt to contact me on my cell.) She then claimed I owe a debt for a payday loan from 2011 with DJR Group (or something like that). I informed her I have never heard of that company, I do NOT owe any balance on any payday loan and that I am reporting the matter to the FTC.
