Called my cell phone inquiring what days and times a relative is at my home so he can sign important documents. The relative does not live with me. I asked how they found my number. They said they have a "sophisticated system" to track relatives. They didn't provide me with any other information except to have the relative call them back. This is harassment and possibly illegal.

They called my cell phone. My caller ID said it was an unlisted number. A man gave my name and address, said he was trying to serve notice to me about a court case, and asked when I would be home. I asked him if it was about collections, and he said no, that it was more important than that all he knew was that it was a legal notice. He refused to provide his name. Just that Legacy Management was trying to serve me papers and that I needed to contact 877-571-5847. I Googled the name and number and have come across half a dozen reports of it being a scam. People pretending to be debt collectors, scaring people into giving them money by threatening arrest.

Called my mom's number left message for warrant and file number and phone number. When I called them wouldn't say their personal name and very rude said they had been to my address (I've lived here 10 years) twice this week ( they have not) and now said they are going to serve me at work for a debt from 2006. Very confrontational on the phone.

Called my youngest daughter's cell phone told her if she did not contact me to call to call them, they would come with the sheriff and serve me either at home or work. I called the number, they tried very hard to collect today. I asked if my payment was going directly to Us bank she told me no. She then put me on hold saying she was contacting US bank on my behalf to get a better settlement deal. She told me the can take payments but if I did this they would have to have it by the end of the month. It's a total scam. Also scared the bejesus out of daughter.
