A guy named Fred Goodman (with a Portuguese accent) claiming to be an agent with the Michigan Gaming Commission called to tell me I'd won a Mercedes E class car and something like 25 million dollars....Talked to me for about 18 minutes telling me that I was entered from using my debit card at WalMart or Walgreens. Said their headquarters are in Las Vegas. Claims he will call me back this afternoon once they get some stamp from the FBI for the check to prove it's legit. Then they will arrange to come to my home with the presentation of the check and car. They did not ask for any personal info and already had my address which they verified. I asked why I had never heard of this happening and he says it's on Cinemax and that they do it every 6 months or so. A weird scam I'm sure--we'll see what happens. Also gave me his "direct line" number which I researched and it's a Jamaican cell phone number....
