Same as above, wanted all my info and then said they would download the paperwork to the Sheriffs office. Said I owed 3999.89 but if it went thru the courts then it would be over 15k. Told him I would not do anything now and he stated he would then issue an arrest warrant for me. I hung up at that point.
I was being charged with the following:
1. Violation of Federal Tax Code
2. Deficiency
3. Falsifying my tax documents.

Miguel with Conserve calling for my ex-roommate.
I said "I keep telling you people she moved to another country 3 years ago". He says we've never spoken before, I said, I'm sorry I assumed you were a collection agency. He said- he was calling because I was listed as a REFERENCE. I assumed as a job.
But then he started asking me about contact info. for her (which if it was a job application he should have), then asking to speak to someone who "handles her estate".
So basically he lied/severely twisted the truth.
Reported to DONOTCALL & will be sending CONSERVE a cease & Desist letter that they will be violating the federal laws on collection if they keep contacting me.

For the umpteenth time these people are calling me saying I owe something when I owe no one nothing. Normally I wouldn't post anything but now I'm annoyed. Following is the transcript of the message my voice mail took:
"This is a very important message for XX hi XX this is Miguel and I would like to request you to call back at 888-447-7335 this is in your interest as we got a pending claim we gotta resolve before it considered for further action against you so to call back is it's already been a while. Try and get hold of you and we've already started contacting you know other people. We're associated with you so we like this to be a smooth resolution for you and for that to happen we'd appreciate your cooperation. Please contact. And let's resolve this. Good day and good luck."
