This "agency" contacted me to inform me that I recently signed up to register for Google Money Tree when I was filling out some online surveys. I was instructed to give my shipping/billing address to receive the Google Money Tree 7-day trial package and only had to pay $3.88 S/H. So then I reluctantly gave my debit card number (this is my dummy card, I never use my actual credit card since I barely have any money in my debit account).
So was then given a transaction ID number and a customer support number 1-888-657-8585 and I called two days later to cancel my trial subscription, but this CUstomer Support center claims it cannot retrieve my profile information, no matter how I try to explain myself. They keep telling me to call back a few hours later to check if my info was registered into their systems. But somehow I get the feeling the first phone number is a virtual, fake phone number. So then I'm having to go through the process of cancelling my debit account and creating a new one. Lesson learned here. For anyone who has actually gone through the payment process with this fraudulent number 801-785-2724, just call your bank and ask to cancel your current account, and have create a new bank account.
