OFFICER PETER WOLF

Supposedly an Officer Peter Wolf called asking if I was friends with a certain person. I told them yes. He mentioned that he was from the department of investigation and he needed to contact that person or that she will get in trouble. He had a very strong accent and could hardly be understood. He also told me that my phone number and my friends phone number was under investigation. For what reason, don't know. But sounds like a scammer . . . we both are teachers.

This person has a deep middle eastern voice and identifies himself as officer Peter Wolf. He said, "I need to have a pen to write down a case number." He wouldn't let me know the purpose of my call after confirming who I was. He also, informed me that he has my social security number. So-called officer Wolf repeated the last 4 digits of my social security number. The caller ID shows North Carolina and list phone number 919-692-6017.
