The caller identified himself as Matthew Metzger (a name I didn't recognize) and said he was doing a project at the New Canaan Country Club (a nearby country club) and would I please call him back at 561-637-4703, which is apparently a DelRay Beach, Florida phone number. I called the number back anonymously and got his voicemail in which he said he was with Platinum Publishing (a company I didn't recognize). I suspect he was a telemarketer or other junk caller trying to attract my attention by specifically referring to a local country club that I was likely to recognize.

This guy calls himself Todd Lavene but I looked on line and he uses different names on different calls. He said he was from a local Golf Club here and wanted me to call back. I called the Golf Club and they have never heard of him. Other people have written the same thing that he gives the name of a local golf club.
No doubt he's a scam or marketing guy...either way, when he calls back I'm going to have fun with him!
