Process Resolution

This number, 888-508-1189, just called our office (a law firm) and threatened the head attorney. Apparently there was a complaint filed against him, they gave our attorney a fake case number, and demanded more personal information from our attorney who refused before eventually hanging up. This is definitely a scam of some kind.
Our office is located in California. Based on what I have read online this is a nationwide scam. I will be looking into ways to report this to a law enforcement agency who can do something about it.

For the fourth time I received a call from this "company", looking for someone who does not live/exist at my number.
They refused to tell me who they are, when asked for the company name they gave me a generic name - "Process Resolution". No hits on Google. Caller ID is also bogus - this time, showing "PHOENIX".
When I called back and ask for their website, they spelled "McDonalds.com" (even including instructions to type as "capital M, small c, capital D...." - and ended saying "you can place your order there".
This company is a joke.
They are also using the numbers 1-415-549-8952 1-310-905-3296 and 1-205-259-5335 to place this scam calls. They are "jumping numbers" do avoid detection.
Other numbers used by this scammer: 205-259-5335 / 248-509-0772 / 310-905-3296 / 404-341-9088 / 415-549-8952 / 480-376-0984 / 646-712-8513

Automated call came through. We have a complaint with your name on it. And gave a complaint number i couldn't get written down. Called the number back they said MAryland National Bank had filed a lawsuit on me for a credit card i received in 1999 and kept 2003. I did not have a credit card until last year. And told them that. They replied that someone would be here monday to deliver a summons to court.
