Got this same call today from an SOS Emergency Call on cell phone. I let the call go to voicemail because who would be calling me from 911??
The ancient was a man that had a Indian accent claiming to be Sam Wilson from the state of Florida & if I didn't return the call within 30 minutes I would be arrested.
I'm glad I looked this up before getting upset & getting my nerves all rattled.
Too many of these scams are going on & preying on people because people don't want to go to jail. Bottomline:

Caller reported to be the IRS, attempted to collect back taxes (fraudulent tax returns) they claimed. Asked for $7621.00, or I most likely will go to jail. When I told him he was a scammer, he told me to go "xxxx" myself, and that my wife should do the same. WOW!! For those knowing, the IRS will ALWAYS send you multiple mailings, not phone calls.
Just hang up on these dopes.
