Steve Foster

Someone using this name has called several times claiming to be with "federal investigations" and with the Jacks and Williams or Jackson Williams Legal Service (it was hard to tell with his accent) and claiming I would have "very serious consequences" and he would have me arrested if I did not wire $2,000 immediately via Western Union to pay off my debt. For me he used the number 225-304-0899 which is a cell phone and a Louisiana number, but his accent was more like Indian or other Middle Eastern. I demanded to have the State Bar number for the Attorney and they did not seem to know what that was. It is another typical scam. If it was a legitimate collection agency they would have been breaking many of the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act laws.

Got a call from someone at work today who told me his name was Steve Foster calling from US federal investigations and to call him at this number. I called it back with no answer. I think it is a scam. Has anyone else gotten a call like this??
