Thank you for the info, I knew it was too good to be true. An asset manager calling me to list a property in my area, but he wanted $500.00 up front and a free BPO!!! As soon as he said that I knew it was a scam! So I started doing some research and realized they are just scam artist! BEWARE DON’T FALL FOR THE TRAP!!

Scam calls from "TeamLear" - http://teamlear.com

No less than 5 different individuals calling from this # in less than 1 hour - all claiming to be real estate asset managers. When questioned some will finally admit they are NOT asset managers at all but are working with banks and other asset managers on pre-foreclosure, foreclosure and rent to list properties and they wanted to assign to the various realtors in our organization.

When asked were they licensed one woman said "yes" when asked for her license number - which would be public information - she said I had her name and that was "enough" and hung up.

While having these people on the phone I am researching the company. Their website say they are a software company ! surprise... One person did admit they were a software company when confronted but again stated he was an asset manager with properties to assign - umm FAKE! Software companies are NOT real estate asset managers.

He also wanted "free" CMA's done (current market value) of the properties he wanted to assign but that the realtor was "guaranteed" the listing --wrong answer. Reputable asset managers do not ask for "free" work before a property is assigned.

I told him sans any property agreement - which also has to past the broker - no free work but our realtors were happy to provide BPO/CMA (broker price opinions) for the standard fees. Reputable BPO companies also have the fees included in any solicitation or ask what your fee and turn time is.

Of course of the 4 individuals who said they would send the information on the properties for us to review - nothing came.

They never got to a request for money as in the forum postings below. But one individual called back 5 times to tell me how legit they were and that he was sending the information of the "guaranteed" listings.

Right at the top of my Google search for this company was this realtor post on REO forums.

Of the 2 addresses one individual provided as ready to list and foreclosed - neither was true. Similar realtors report the same with their calls from this outfit.

Even their address is fake - some "virtual office" rented out by SmartSpace : (check them out too) - Address: 2373 Central Park Blvd Suite 100, Denver, CO 80238
