The caller claimed that I had called and asked about Medicare providers. Since I had not made such a call I expressed doubt. He did agree that my phone number was probably in a group purchased by his organization and they just make the calls.
It appeared to be a robocall - whens the phone range I answered and there was several seconds before his voice asked question - suggesting to me that it was that cal was transferred to a switchboard.
