I received three calls on a Saturday from Steve Martin. No one with a severe, barely understandable accent would be named Steve Martin. Calling on a Saturday? Not using an 800 number?.
He said that this "was a second attempt" and to ignore it would be a Federal offense. He wanted 5000 plus dollars. If I didn't give it to him he would send an officer to my door and place me in prison for 6 years, take my house, garnish my wages, and I would lose my job. He also demanded that I treat him with respect because he was an IRS officer. How crazy can one person be?

Calls begin at 6:00 in the morning and they are all recordings. The call is Informing you that if you do not return his call, you will have to report to a Federal Magistrate. The caller has an Indian accent. While the messaging is laughable, the harassing calls go on every single hour on the hour.

I too received a recorded message. So, I decided to call "Steve Martin" back and harrass him! He then said he was sending someone to my door to arrest me and hung up on me. I continued to call him back to ask why he was going to have me arrested. No response. Waiting for the cops to show up to arrest me. What a jerk for trying to scam people like this!
