I called a number for help to login to aol mail. Apwiz Solutions worked on my computer. Next login, nothing worked.I emailed to request a refund of the $499 charged. In the meantime I received call from another tech?? who said he would fix my computer and refund me the $499 and only charge me $399 if I would wire money to India to Shane Watson. I did and computer still didnt work. He locked my computer till he received my money. I filed a complaint with scam guard. A portion of my original complaint #4644 Has been resolved with a full refund of $499.99 from Appwiz Solutions. I was unaware this should have been two different claims until Apwiz said it was not their rep ans the $399.99 which I sent to India was someone impersonating a former worker of Appwiz. He told me after he received the money and unlocked my computer and he couldn't fix it, it was a scam because I told him I thought it was but only wanted to save my pictures and was desperate. He said he was from India, but was enrolled in California University to become an engineer. He felt really bad because I told him the story and cried. He appologized and said he would send me the money if I did not report him. He said he and a couple friends did this for college money and he was only 20 years old. I told him I was a retired Export compliance office and their could be serious problems for him when he gets caught. I told him I would wait 24 hours for wired refund, but he said he doesn't have the money and needed 10 days, I told him OK but after that I would report it. I have additional phone numbers which were on my caller ID from that person calling himself Shane Watson. I lost my only daughter June 10, 2011 at 28 years old to leukemia and had 1100+ pictures on my computer I wanted desperatly to save.

Called again, no phone number but West Chicago, Illinois came up. Then another call from 1-263-252-0122 @ 7:18 P.M. confirming he received the money from western union. Please seperate this from Complainr # 4644 and continue to investigate under a new claim number.
