The Better Business Bureau has issued an alert to consumers about a loan scam that includes the distribution of a counterfeit BBB reliability report. Working Capital Corporation claims to offer high risk financial aid in relation to various types of loans. In other words, it appears to be operating an advance fee loan operation. Consumers have been complaining that they paid money up front and did not receive the promised loans.
The BBB wants consumers to know that Working Capital Corporation is misleading consumers. According to the BBB the company is not a member, would not meet its membership standards and does not have a satisfactory record with the Bureau.
So when you get an offer for a loan that requires you to pay money up-front, and especially if that company calls itself Working Capital Corporation, say “no thanks.”
