I have gotten calls from then too now I put their number in a internet phone prank website and it's recorded then I listen very funny I do this everyday twice a day to them

I just received a phone call from the same man, Eric Boise from Stark Recovery in Bakersfield, CA saying that I took out an online loan for $300 in April of 2011 and they had all my personal information, social security number, address, bank information. However, they said that I was employed at the time, at a company that was not even open at the time. It was a year later that I worked at that company and as I said, it was not even finished being built in 2011 so I'm sure it's a scam. I asked him why didn't I receive something in the mail alerting me of this unpaid loan and I even called my bank and asked them to do a search for March, April and May of 2011 and they could not find any deposit of $300 into my account from this so called company, Global Group Holdings. Mr. Boice could not provide me with any phone number from Global Group Holdings either so I definitely feel this is a big scam!

If they call you again, demand that they stop calling you. Tell them this: “this is your notice that I am asking you to cease and desist from calling me or harassing me and my family any further. I have filed complaints with my local authorities and the FBI internet crime division.”

The FBI has said they are aware of these scams and there is a large investigation going on. Besides filing your complaint so they have a record of it you could call the Sacramento FBI and inform them of your experience. Their phone number is: 916-481-9110.

My daughter received a call from an Allison Evans said she was from Stark Recovery (Trying to catch fish) Gave my daughter their phone number ext #, case number and her name. She took info and relayed to me: I called and received the following info (No fair credit disclosure given (FIRST RED FLAG)). There was a civil action being processed against me, if I wanted to stop this I can take a one time settlement of $748.00 not what they said I owed $18,79.00, but I had to do it then. I questioned who was bringing this against me, She told me that it was Associated Bank of Green Bay, gave me an account number, the address of the person that she claimed to be, Somehow she gave me my SSN number . She said I would be served with papers, I told her LOTS of LUCK, You don't even know where I am. She worked off a script. Not good at it though. LOL Before I got off the phone with her, I informed her that the date that she told me the money was given on was in 2011, I was under treatment for cancer, and I had retired from 32 years in law enforcement Fraud Division, and court services. She was also told a police report is being filed against them with the local and federal authorities. I thanked her for the information and told her I would see them in Federal Court .

Said I had taken out an on line loan,which I never have done.Said I had 2 OPTIONS 1 go to court and pay over 2000.00 dollars or 2 pay them 690.00 now.He said which option am I taking I said neither. I would fight it if I had too.He was very rude tried to intimidate me but I stuck to my guns.They even went as far as to call my son and sister. I am very upset over this.Trying to get me to for something that never even happened.A lot more was said but ive given you the jest of it.

I got this exact same phone call today! I first received a call from Lauren Scott *AT MY WORK*! Five minutes later she called my cell phone. She claims that I took out a loan in 2013 for $300 and that I can settle today for $690 or go to court and have to pay $2690. When I asked for more information, she just kept repeating that I took out this loan with Westgate and that they have my electronic signature so I owe this money. The REALLY scary part was - she had correct information on me (address, employer, etc). The only thing that wasn't correct was an old bank account (even that information was correct for the time that it was open). I told her I wasn't doing anything until I researched it. She told me I had to call back by 6pm today or they were pursuing legal action. My first couple of attempts to find anything online weren't very successful so I called back to see if I could find out anything else. She was, of course, on a conference call because she's that important. So, I talked to Eric Boise. He repeated all of the other information Lauren Scott had and told me that their legal department is part of Stark Recovery in Bakersfield, CA. When I told him that their name and phone # are listed as scams on several sites, he informed me that they'd pursue legal action and wished me "luck." These people are terrible!

Left voicemail from my mom indicated that my employer would be contacted and I will go to jail. They also spoke with my sister, who got their information. They said I did a payday loan online for $300, that is now $2690.00 and I can pay $690 today. They were super rude!
This is completely a scam. I purchased something on Facebook yesterday, which is how I believe they received the information. my mom and sister are listed as relatives with their #'s public on facebook. (I know better, SMH!)

These people, Eric Boise in particular, has been harassing me on my cell phone and even at my job! This is ridiculous and embarrassing. He called saying the same as the above post, that this is a legal debt and actions would be taken to court if I did not pay back some fraudulent pay day loan I allegedly obtained years ago. I have never gotten a payday loan in my life! This is such a scam, and people like this should go to hell with gasoline drauls on for attempting to steal from people!!

I received a voice mail at work requesting to speak with the manager or supervisor of Latosha stating it's an urgent personal matter. When I called the number back immediately a maletter answered stating stark recovery legal dept. I asked to speak with Sarah Jackson and he transferred me to her. She stated asked if this was Latosha, and rattled off my social security number and other personal information. She stated u had two options either u could pay $2730 or option 2 pay $730.00. She stated this was an online payday loan I took out on May 14,2011 for $350.00 with Align Online. I told her I never took out a payday loan with an Align Online. She then asked if I had a bank accounting ending 6146.I told her anyone can get personal information offline now a days. She said I had until 3pm to to call her with which option j am taking. I told her I will be contacting the FCC to report this call. No response. I asked why was there nothing received in the mail. She stated it was email correspondence. I told her I never received anything and could she maul mr something. The reference code she gave me was 4109285.
